About the event
Level 1 is designed for new or inexperienced shooters. The course focuses on the safe handling, loading, unloading, and firing of a pistol. Students will learn the core fundamentals of marksmanship, including stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control, and follow-through.
Emphasis on Safety:
Firearm safety rules explained and reinforced throughout the course
Proper range etiquette and safe handling practices
Dry-fire and live-fire drills with strict instructor oversight
